Privacy policy

Pointerflow LLC ("we") makes Clearfold. This is the plain version of how we handle data.

The short version

• We do not collect your browsing data. No URLs, page content or history leave your device.
• Blocking happens on your device.
• We do not sell data and we do not show ads.

What stays on your device

Your settings, your custom rules and your activity counts (ads, trackers and popups blocked). Activity counts are never synced or sent.

What we do receive

• Rule updates. Your browser downloads signed rule files from our CDN. The request is a normal web request, so the server sees the usual technical data such as an IP address. We do not use it to profile you.
• Problem reports. Only when you send one. A page address is included only after you confirm it.
• Uninstall survey. Optional and anonymous. It sends your chosen reason, any text you type, and the extension version.
• Product events. Anonymous counts that help us improve the product. They never contain URLs, page content or browsing history.
• Account and billing (Pro). Your email and subscription status. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not see your card number.
• Settings sync (Pro). Your settings, not your activity.

This website

No cookies and no ad trackers. If we use analytics, it will be cookieless and limited to page views.

Your choices

You can delete your account and synced data from your account page, or by contacting us. Removing the extension removes its local data.
